NOTHERN TERRITORY

Sem vložte podnadpis

There is no greater haven than the Northern Territory for those looking to make a connection with nature. The change of colour is the only constant. Kata Tjuta NP (Ayers Rock and The Olgas) is one of the World Heritage National Parks. The culture of the Aboriginal people holds a deeply spiritual connection to the land that dates back tens of thousands of years, yet can still be shared in the present day - through a walk in the desert, a visit to the ancient rock art galleries, or simply sitting in on a story-telling session. The Territory is renown for its colourful characters. The Outback - picture

Our experience in Outback - my article

The colours which appeared depending on the sun's rays were more than beautiful. Imagine that ULURU can be red, orange, brown or black (during rain). It is only the play of sunbeams.

ULURU is 348m high and 9.4 kms around and it penetrates more than 6 kms beneath the earth's surface. You can imagine it like a large iceberg. Climbing was forbidden there because of the extreme temperatures (36 degrees and higher).

Several people had told me that it was "only fucking rock," but I tell you it isn't only that! Don't believe them. I can tell you that the ULURU in photos or on postcards is nice, but in reality it is marvelous. You must be there to feel this particular atmosphere, to understand that being there you are the luckiest person.
